An incredibly touching story: a paralyzed outdoorsman gets to hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon with some help from his family. Bob Headings used to love exploring the wilderness before falling off of a ladder and becoming paralyzed from the waist down nearly a decade ago.
As a gift, his sons and grandchildren arranged for a special wheelchair that would allow them to hike the over 7.5 miles down to the floor of one of the 7 Wonders of the World — and carry him back up!
